Call for Tutorial Proposals

IEEE CAMAD 2021 will feature a series of half and full-day Tutorials and invites the submission of Tutorial proposals. Tutorials provide opportunities for researchers from both academia and industry to learn about the state-of-the-art research and development from experts in a given field. The IEEE CAMAD Technical Program Committee invites submission of tutorial proposals for half-day presentation on topics of interest to the conference, such as (but not limited to):

  1. Wireless communications: design, optimization, and computer simulation
  2. Spectrum Management, mmWave/THz Band Communications
  3. Waveform, Multiple Access Techniques
  4. Quantum Communication
  5. Radio Access Technology and Heterogeneous Networks
  6. Green Communications and Networks
  7. IoT, M2M, Sensor Networks, and Ad-Hoc Networking
  8. Wireless Networks: Protocols, Security and Services
  9. Positioning, Navigation and Mobile Satellite System
  10. UAV Communications, Electric Vehicles, and Intelligent Transportation
  11. Transceiver architecture, RF-design,
  12. Mobile Channel Modeling
  13. Artificial intelligence, Machine Learning, deep learning for communications systems
  14. Future Trends and Emerging Technologies


Tutorial Proposal Format

Each Tutorial proposal must be sent via email to Tutorial chairs (please follow the following order in your proposal):

Body includes:
–Name of presenter(s) and affiliation(s)
–Tutorial title
–BRIEF description of pertinence to CAMAD audiences (50 words MAX)

After an initial selection phase, the shortlisted candidates will be asked to provide a full proposal in view of final selection. Full proposal details will be collected online via a web form (the Tutorials Chairs will provide a link after the shortlisting stage).


Tutorial Proposal Submission Timeline

  • Brief descriptions due: 15 July 2021 30 July 2021
  • Selection of shortlisted proposals: 30 July 2021 15 August 2021
  • Full proposals due: 21 August 2021
  • Notification of selection: 30 August 2021
  • Tutorials to be presented on: 25-27 October, 2021
